The crisis at Premier League club Wolverhampton is total. – No one was surprised when manager Vitor Pereira was fired at the beginning of November. – It has been almost impossible to do worse this season.
Has hired Rob Edwards who knows the club very well as the new manager. The Welsh manager coaches the national team duo Jørgen Strand Larsen and David Møller Wolfe. Strand Larsen, who has just returned from injury, will probably lead to a boost going forward. He was central last season where his many goals saved them from relegation.

Rob Edwards has set his sights on signing a star player from Wrexham, in a surprising role envisaged in the wake of his appointment at Wolves.
Edwards has signed for Wolves on a three-and-a-half-year contract, after he was bought out from Championship club Middlesbrough.
He has been in talks with Wolves since Saturday, after he was excused from the Boro game against Birmingham City and was given permission to speak to the Premier League club. There is said to be a compensation package of around £3 million in the transfer.
Edwards, who made 111 appearances for Wolves in his active career, will be tasked with leading them to safety as they currently find themselves at the bottom of the table, with just two points.
Wolves are yet to win a game in their first 11 league rounds, losing 3-0 to Chelsea in their previous game.
According to The Telegraph, Edwards is expected to hire experienced coach Paul Trollope, who is currently at Southampton, to his support staff.
Wrexham defender Conor Coady is wanted over as soon as possible.
The report claims that Edwards wants to hire Coady as coach after their time together at Wolves.
Coady played for Wolves while Edwards coached the club’s youth academy.

However, sources related to the case claim that it is ‘highly unlikely’ that it will happen.
Coady, who is 32 years old, is still highly valued at Wolves, having spent seven seasons at the club.
He made 317 appearances and helped the Midlands club achieve promotion from the Championship to the Premier League in the 2017/2018 season.
Coady signed for Wrexham from Leicester City in a deal worth £2 million last summer.
He has played six games across all competitions this season, including five league games.
Whether the former England star will become a coach when his career is over remains to be seen as he has done expert analysis for Sky Sports.
Edwards, on the other hand, has brought Harry Watling, who worked alongside him at Boro, and several new faces are expected to arrive soon.
