For two decades Robert Lewandowski banged in goals first in Polish football then at Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. “In recent years, he has done exactly the same for Barcelona. The Polish striker who passed the 700 career goals that Barcelona play is on an expiring contract and surprisingly all signals from Camp Nou have been that they will let him go.

So far this season, there have been 8.La League goals, which puts the 37-year-old in 4th place on the top scorers list.

Robert Lewandowski’s contract with Barcelona expires in the summer, and the 37-year-old superstar has been linked with a number of different clubs. According to Sport, the striker and the club’s coach Hansi Flick will soon sit down to discuss the Pole’s future.

A date in early 2026 should be agreed, when it can be decided whether Flick sees Lewandowski as part of next season’s Barcelona as well, and whether an extension can then be carried out.

Lewandowski has recently been reported to have offers from clubs in MLS, Saudi Arabia, at home in Poland and Germany.

Lewandowski has 103 goals in 187 appearances for Barcelona.
