Needless to say, several big clubs in the Premier League want all-in McTominay back to the ball island. This has also made the Scot a potential prestige signing for the “Ronaldo League”. The offer that was supposed to persuade the 29-year-old has been sent.
Now, McTominay is not suffering any financial distress with up to 6 million euros in annual salary as a Napoli player, but the offer that “should clear all doubt” is probably in monster class. According to transfer expert Nicolo Schira, “a Saudi club offered a huge salary to try and convince Scott McTominay”.

The former Manchester United player turned it down. Transfer journalist Romano adds that McTominay “is not now talking to Saudi Pro League clubs”.
And why should he? Napoli are making a run to keep the club’s biggest attacking resource, reports Schira. “Talks are ongoing about a contract extension until 2030 and an option for 2031. Napoli have already planned a salary increase for him.”
