At the top, German left winger Timo Werner was worth 80 million euros, which was seen as a good price when he was sold from RB Leipzig to Chelsea in the summer of 2020 for 64 million euros.
However, the German never got the hang of football in England, neither at Chelsea nor London rivals Tottenham, where he played last season.

Werner is now making his third spell back at Leipzig, but more recently, the striker’s form in Germany has also declined. This season, the attacker has only been listed for one minute of play.
Now Florian Plettenberg states that Leipzig are eager to send Werner on and thus get rid of a heavy salary post.
According to another transfer journalist, Philipp Hinze, Leipzig are said to be willing to let the German leave for a really low price. Almost one million euros is set as a price tag for sales in January.
