Then it’s done, reports Tipsbladet. For the past week, Ola Solbakken has been linked to exit Roma, heading north. Not all the way back to Bodø, but to a Danish club that loves its Norwegian players.

Jose Mourinho grittes his teeth when asked about Bodø/Glimt and the loss at Aspmyra, but that didn’t stop the Portuguese from booking Ola Solbakken to Roma in 2023. Mourinho disappeared from the eternal city already in January 2024, now it is reported that the former Glimt star is also history at the Serie A club.

We have lost a bit of an overview of where Solbakken went, since 2023 it has been loaned to Olympiakos, Urawa Red Diamonds and most recently Empoli. According to Tipsbladet, Solbakken is now ready for FC Nordsjælland on a permanent transfer for 1 million euros, with a contract until 2029.

Earlier in the week, Danish Bold reported that they had information that “FC Nordsjælland is close to making a sensational signing of Ola Solbakken” (no doubt that Solbakken has a high star in Denmark). This is the Danish Super League club that loves its Norwegian players. Andreas Schjelderup has played there for two rounds, Sindre Walle Egeli wears the red shirt so far (is linked to transfer to PSV).
