2024-25 Season
It was one of the most exciting and dynamic seasons. Many changes and twists happened in the season itself. In addition to the changes we have seen in the new clubs, there have also been changes in other Premier League clubs. Namely, there have also been changes when it comes to coaches. Manchester United have a new coach – Rúben Amorim. This change didn’t change the situation on the pitch that much, but it did refresh the relationship between the players and the coach.
Leicester City also got a new coach, Ruud van Nistelrooy, but this change did not lead to much better results on the pitch either. Regardless of the changes, Leicester City were relegated before the end of the season.
Vítor Pereira took over as manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers. This change had a more positive impact on the players and energy in the team, and they finished mid-table.
Liverpool are currently at the top of the table, as the team with the most goals and the best statistics. Arsenal are right behind, and Newcastle are in third place according to current statistics. Among the top five clubs, Manchester City are also in fourth place and Chelsea in fifth.
The best players this season stand out at the moment: Mohamed Salah, Alexander Isak, Erling Braut Haaland. Mohamed Salah has scored 28 goals so far and is considered the most successful player in the Premier League. Right behind him, with 23 goals, is Alexander Isak. In third place is the highly successful Manchester City footballer Erling Braut Haaland. He has scored 21 goals this season.
Season 2025-26
According to current information and statistics, the promoted teams for the 2025-26 season are: Leeds United, Burnley, and Ipswich Town. These teams managed, through their efforts last season, to secure a spot in the new season and try to win the best possible spot in the new season.
Leeds United stand out with their attacking play. This style of play has brought them into the new season, and it’s where they put their greatest hopes to achieve their goals. However, in order to achieve remarkable results with the already established and successful Premier League teams, it is definitely the defensive game that they need to work on.
Thanks to exceptional results and defensive play, Burnley managed to become part of the new season of the Premier League. This style of play, with a strong defense, promises great success in the 2025–26 season. Ipswich Town enter the new season with the aim of improving their defence and harmonising their game, in order to compete with successful Premier League teams.
What this season has certainly shown is that a change of coach is not of great importance for players and matches. What is certain is that changes to the game cannot happen until the season itself, but rather changes must occur throughout the season and a new way of playing and tactics must be practiced.
