There are only six weeks until the Eliteserien starts up again and intense work is also being done in Bergen and Brann, who last season landed in a somewhat frustrating 4th place.
Now they have brought in a goalkeeper from Ranheim.

Brann confirms they strengthen with Simen Vidtun Nilsen
The 25-year-old will be a challenger to first goalkeeper Mathias Dyngeland.
“It’s a fantastic place and a fantastic club, with Scandinavia’s best supporters. Everything is cool here, says Nilsen in a statement from Brann.
He has been a regular first goalkeeper for Ranheim in recent seasons and has Eliteserie experience from Sarpsborg 08 in 2022.
Brann has wanted a strong challenger to Dyngeland, who has often been seen in Ståle Solbakken’s Norwegian national team squad in recent years.
Dyngeland has delivered very good performances for Brann over several seasons, but had some blisters towards the end of last season, which ended with fourth place in the Eliteserien.
The Bergen team has also impressed in Europe and is ready for the first knockout round in the Europa League. Later in February, Brann will play two games against Bologna for a place in the last eight.
On Monday, Brann strengthened their offensive by loaning Icelandic winger Jón Dagur Þorsteinsson from Hertha Berlin. The 27-year-old has 52 caps for Iceland.
