The Norwegian striker could leave Atlético de Madrid in the coming days.
Atlético de Madrid are not wasting time and are already working on possible replacements for Alexander Sørloth if the move to English football becomes a reality this summer. Brentford and West Ham have shown interest in the Norwegian striker, and Atlético are not ruling out a sale if they receive an offer of around €25 million. – That is less than what they paid for the Trønder last summer.

In light of this situation, Atlético’s sporting directors already have three serious options in mind to bolster their attacking line: Dušan Vlahović, Artem Dovbyk and Giacomo Raspadori.
3 candidates to replace Alexander Sørloth
– Dušan Vlahović:
First on the list is Vlahović, who currently plays for Juventus but is not part of Igor Tudor’s plans. The 25-year-old Serbian scored 17 goals last season and could be picked up by Atlético on loan. His contract with Juventus expires in 2026, which opens up negotiations if the Italian club wants to let him go.
– Artem Dovbyk:
Another relevant player is Artem Dovbyk. The Ukrainian has not fully adapted at Roma, and his representatives are looking for a loan deal to LaLiga. He previously impressed in Spain with Girona, where he became the league’s top scorer, which makes Simeone look positive about his return to the country. His goalscoring prowess and knowledge of the league can make integration easy.
– Giacomo Raspadori:
The third name on the list is Giacomo Raspadori. The 25-year-old Italian does not seem to have Antonio Conte’s full confidence at Napoli and could be looking for a change of club. With a price tag of around €20 million, he is an attractive option for a club seeking flexibility and freshness in attack. Raspadori can play both as a second striker and an attacking midfielder, which fits well into the Argentine coach’s system.
Atlético forms their new attack
At the same time, Sørloth remains a valuable player for Atlético. His 24 goals last season underline his qualities, but the club believes that his departure could strengthen several areas of the team. The final decision will depend on the offers from England and how the negotiations with the three candidates develop.
