Sivert Heltne Nilsen, who left Brann for Scottish football almost two years ago, is on his way back to Norwegian football, but probably not the Eliteserien. Haugesund, who are at the bottom of the OBOS League, are beefing up their efforts to return to the top level.

Sivert Heltne Nilsen is relevant for Haugesund, who start the season away against Sandnes Ulf on April 30.

Bergens Tidende writes that the Aberdeen midfielder has held talks with several Norwegian clubs, including Haugesund in the second division. Right now, the 34-year-old is also stated to be closest to a transfer to Haugesund.

Heltne Nilsen last played for Brann in Norway, but left the club for Aberdeen in Scotland in the summer of 2024. The Norwegian has accounted for a total of two goals and two assists in 56 appearances for Aberdeen. – Here a rare goal!.
