Jhon Duran is being linked with a surprise move away from Saudi Arabia, just five months after signing for Al Nassr – and six Premier League clubs have reportedly shown interest.

The 21-year-old Colombian signed a lucrative five-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nassr in January, after the Saudi Arabian club paid £64 million for him after a productive spell at Aston Villa.

Several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea, were interested at the time, but Al Nassr won the game with a peg worth £16.7 million a year – roughly £46,000 per day.

Duran has scored 12 goals in 18 appearances for his new club – a respectable performance under the circumstances.

However, according to a report from Al-Riyadh, the striker has experienced challenges in Saudi Arabia that have “affected his mental state and technical stability”, and Al Nassr are now considering letting him go on loan.

The publication also suggests that clubs have “expressed willingness” to sign him before the 2025/26 season.

Premier League clubs ‘interested’ in Jhon Duran

In addition to these reports, Al Nassr are open to a temporary transfer, according to TEAMtalk, which claims that West Ham are among six Premier League clubs chasing Duran.

West Ham probably see him as a potential “valuable addition” to their attacking line and a player who can bring “energy and goal-scoring flair” to the squad.

“The Hammers” failed in their attempt to sign Duran in January, when Aston Villa rejected a bid of £57 million. Graham Potter is also known to be a great admirer of the player.

Alongside West Ham, Wolves and Fulham are also said to be ready to fight for the Colombian, along with three other named Premier League clubs.

Compiling odds for Jhon Duran’s next club

West Ham are currently 5/1 with Betfair to sign Duran this summer, while Arsenal are favourites at 4/1.

The Gunners are on the hunt for a new striker ahead of the 2025/26 season, with names such as Benjamin Šeško and Viktor Gyökeres heavily linked to North London.

Duran, on the other hand, could prove to be a cheaper option if a loan is an option.

Tottenham are also in the picture with odds of 7/1, along with Borussia Dortmund (10/1), Manchester United (16/1) and Paris Saint-Germain (18/1).
