Wes Brown has been a teammate of Paul Scholes and lifted the biggest trophies together, but Brown’s statement about Manchester United, Brown all but agrees with that.
Scholes has kept his mouth shut for as long as United and Carrick haven’t lost, but with a 2-1 loss to Newcastle, the United icon let his oath and bile flow freely on social media. The games Scholes believes were the bottom of the bucket were wins against Crystal Palace and Everton, a draw against West Ham and a loss against Newcastle. Wes Brown has a completely different opinion. When asked if he agreed with Scholes, the answer was blunt. Brown believes Carrick must be assessed based on what United have performed up until the change of manager.

– No, not at all. Look at the difference from when Michael came in compared to before. Defensively, the team is much stronger. Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have also risen a notch. At the same time, I think there is still more to be gained from them,” Brown begins.
– And Benjamin Sesko is settling in. He is starting to get some of the confidence we expected. He’s an athlete. You see that he is a very good athlete and he tries to score goals.
