The playing time threshold was already high this season for the 22-year-old, with City signing the Premier League’s hottest winger, Semenyo, earlier this month. Only six months away, the World Cup playoffs await Norway, where Ståle Solbakken and “all of Norway” need a Bobb in sparkling good 90+ minute match form. Now it will all be decided. Bids are already on the table at Manchester City, now pressure is being put on the club, which until the beginning of the year was the favorite to secure Norway’s super winger.
It looks like the next stop will be at Borussia Dortmund, but the Bundesliga club has taken a wait-and-see attitude. At the beginning of January, Sport Bild reported last week that the process stopped. The German media claims Dortmund postponed the signing of Bobb for financial reasons. Last week, however, German Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg reported that the Dortmund management has a full overview of the process in Manchester, and is ready to strike at the possibility of a Bobb deal with rent plus purchase option.

This week, the landscape has changed. According to hyperactive transfer journalist Romano, Sander Berge’s Fulham slammed a £35 million bid on the table for Bobb.
This puts pressure on Dortmund, who lost to Tottenham in the Champions League this week. Now Fulham’s bid must be matched, or Bobb is lost to the Germans. This will be decided now.
