Earlier this autumn, there was talk that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was being considered for a bigger coaching job. Then there was silence, before Molde received a polite no thanks from their club hero on offer of the coaching job. Now it is reported from the ball island that something is going on with the Norwegian, the Premier League is calling.

On Saturday, Solskjaer will be spotted in the crowd at Mollineux Stadium where Wolverhampton will face Ipswich with Solskjaer’s former assistant coach, Kieran McKenna at the helm, reports Sportbible.

The English media has heard that Solskjaer turned down “the Norwegian club Molde” and interprets Saturday’s visit to the stands as a sign of a return to the Premier League – this time as Wolverhampton manager.

Sportbible is enthusiastic about the choice of club and believes Solskjaer is perfect for the job:

“The fact that he will be watching the Premier League clash at Molineux may indicate that he is considering a Premier League return in the near future. Should this be the case, Wolves could be the perfect club for the Norwegian to restart his coaching career as current boss Gary O’Neil continues to face mounting pressure after a dismal start to the 2024/25 season,” writes Sportbible enthusiastically.
