Solskjaer and Besiktas went into the international break on their heels with two unnecessary defeats in the Süper Lig. The run-up to the match against league leader Galatasaray did not provide any bright spots either, with a 1-3 loss in a friendly match. Mourinho signed as Fenerbahce coach in the summer, and has done a good job with the club. Although Mourinho says he only cares about titles, it is a good season in the league, where it ends with at least second place.
On Sunday, Solskjaer gave a gift package to Mourinho with Besiktas victory over Galatasaray. The league leader is no longer unbeaten, Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are now six points behind (one game less played), with still ten, eleven games left in the season.
Mourinho has a 1-3 loss and a 0-0 draw against Galatasaray, Solskjaer sunk Galatasaray at the first attempt.

In the Besiktas context, it is also an achievement that gets noticed. This was the first time since November 2010 that a foreign Besiktas coach beat Galatasaray in the series, then with German Bernd Schuster at the helm.
Jose Mourinho also knows that more Solskjaer irritation is coming. Next season, the United legend intends to lead Besiktas past Fenerbahce and Mourinho in the table, the Norwegian has shown he is coming.
