More and more people are discovering that no matter how much money they make, it is not worth it to go to Saudi Arabia as long as you actually have the ambition to play football.
The 59-year-old Italian manager Stefano Pioli was terminated by Zlatan Ibrahimovic last summer after leading AC Milan with varying success for five years and the same autumn got a very well-paid job as a man for Cristiano Ronaldo’s club. (12 million euros tax-free)
Now it’s Stefano Pioli’s turn to find out that desert football is nothing special. The former AC Milan manager has reportedly made a verbal deal with Fiorentina and is expected to sign a three-year contract in July.

Pioli is currently still under contract with Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, but according to sources, he sees his time there as over and wants to return to Italy.
Fiorentina, where he has both played and coached in the past, should be his first choice. He played for the club between 1989 and 1995 and was head coach from 2017 to 2019.
The club is looking for a new coach after Raffaele Palladino left, and Pioli has long been mentioned as the most likely option.
According to the information, it is a three-year agreement, where the official presentation is expected to take place in July when all formal details are in place.
