Signing Norwegian winger talent: Magnus Tomren Solheim ready for Swedish football

Ljungskile SK strengthens before the Superettan comeback – brings in 21-year-old from Norwegian club

Swedish Ljungskile SK is aiming for a strong season after the promotion to the Superettan. On Friday, it became clear that winger Magnus Tomren Solheim (21) has been brought in from Norwegian Stjørdals-Blink. The young Norwegian has signed a contract that binds him to the club until 2028.

“It feels good to finally be here,” says Solheim.

– An important piece for LSK in 2026

Markus Svedin, a member of the football committee in Ljungskile SK, is clear that they have followed Solheim for a long time.

“It’s great that Magnus is now ready. He is a player we have followed closely throughout last year, both in the PostNord league and the Union duel. He has good physique, is strong in one-on-one situations and has both technique and a sharp finish. We are convinced that he will fit perfectly into our style of play and become an important part of the LSK team in 2026, says Svedin.

Goal points and Moldé background

Solheim has delivered a solid performance in Stjørdals-Blink with 13 goals and four assists in 29 games. He also has a background from Molde’s youth department, although there were never any first-team games for the Norwegian big club.

Now a new everyday life awaits in Sweden – and Solheim is looking forward to it:

“I can’t wait to get started! The group of players seems hungry to give everything in every game, and I am sure that the support from the supporters can give us many victories this year.
