Last summer, there was a full clinch between the Napoli management and Victor Osimhen. The star striker had been working for several months for a move to the Premier League or PSG, the Serie A club set price demands (along with Osimhen’s wage demands) that brought all transfer processes to a standstill. It ended with the totally surprising loan stay at Galatasaray, now the equally surprising continuation follows.

For the past week, various media have reported that Osimhen wants a permanent transfer to the Turkish club. According to Corriere dello Sport, the 26-year-old and the club have already agreed on the personal terms.

This is the striker the big clubs in the biggest leagues are looking for, so how can Galatasaray carry this signing? Sky Sports reports the club has made a solid bid of €60 million, but not solid enough. The bid was rejected, Napoli are demanding around 75 million euros for the striker who delivered 26 league goals to Gala.

A big distance, in other words. Osimhen wants to return to Istanbul, Napoli only have one year left on his contract with the 26-year-old and could see his sales revenue disappear in the coming months.

Then we are eagerly awaiting Manchester United and other Premier League clubs that have been on the Osimhen track for the past six months.
