Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko have been put to work at Old Traford, Zirkzee sat on the bench, while Rasmus Hojlund has nothing to sit on at United, on his way away – involuntarily. Then the striker situation should start to fall into place, shouldn’t it? Now there are reports of a move from United that surprises.

It is nothing new that Randal Kolo Muani (price tag of around €60 million) is linked to Manchester United, but the timing of the move towards the PSG striker with 11 goals in 54 games is surprising.

Caughtoffisde’s source reports on the move: “United recently got in touch, asked for information and signaled to the player’s representatives they are interested in initiating talks,” the source begins to the English media.

The answer the gang from Old Trafford got probably immediately cooled the interest.

“However, Kolo Muani has not given any indication of being open to a move to Old Trafford. The French striker has made his position clear: his priority is Juventus,” the source said.

Muani was on loan at Juve last season and wants to return, but PSG and the Serie A club have not come to an agreement. This led to United’s advance, the source reports, but without a thumbs up from the striker himself.
