Martin O’Neill is currently the interim boss of Celtic after Brendan Rodgers was sacked.
Rodgers was fired as Celtic manager on October 27, and former Celtic boss Martin O’Neill has taken over the role temporarily. Since then, O’Neill has led the Scottish champions to three wins in four games, including subsequent 4-0 victories over Falkirk and Kilmarnock.

He also led the team to a 3-1 victory in the Scottish League Cup semi-finals over arch-rivals Rangers at Hampden Park on 2 November.
And despite his success, it looks like O’Neill could soon leave his beloved Celtic once again, as the club is reportedly on the verge of announcing its new permanent manager.
Wales national team coach Craig Bellamy and former Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou have all been linked with the job, but according to the Daily Record, the Scottish club are almost entirely in agreement with Columbus Crew coach Wilfried Nancy.
It is said that discussions are ongoing with a view to finalizing the deal during the international break.
It was believed that the 48-year-old Nancy, who previously coached Montreal, wanted to wait until the end of the MLS playoffs, but Columbus left the competition last weekend.
The Record reports that the Ohio club will not stop the transfer, and Celtic are likely to pay between one and two million pounds in compensation.
Nancy led Columbus to the MLS title in 2023 and also won the Coach of the Year award.
Fans don’t like the rumor! – Several people took to social media to give their opinions on Friday evening.
One said: “A disaster of an appointment. There is zero ambition shown.”
Another added: “If it’s actually Nancy, then there can be no sulking and silly just because it’s not the manager you wanted who wouldn’t come anyway.
“If Wilfried Nancy becomes the next Celtic manager, he deserves full support from the start.”
A third claimed: “I have seen many Celtic supporters turning their noses up at the thought of hiring Wilfried Nancy – although he is obviously untested in Europe, I can assure you that you would be in safe hands.
“He completely transformed Montréal with a non-existent budget into one of the best teams in the league.”
While a fourth commented, “Wilfried Nancy is the worst possible choice if the reports are true, and is doomed to fail. An abominable appointment from @CelticFC.”
