In 2008, Arsenal signed Aaron Ramsey from Cardiff City. It wasn’t until 2019 that the Gunners came to an end, after loans to Nottingham Forest, Cardiff and 369 games in the red and white shirt. After Arsenal, the midfielder chose Juventus, before moving to Ligue 1 and Nice alongside Kasper Schmeichel in the summer of 2022. Already after one season, he disappeared back to the ball island, this time Cardiff. Then came the unusual career choice in 2025, with Mexico next. Six games later, the contract is terminated.
Quite a journey! Nevertheless, his stay at Mexican Club Universidad Nacional, Pumas, was not a good sporting experience for the Welshman.

The former Arsenal midfielder had a contract until the summer of 2026, but the club has chosen to terminate the contract with Ramsey after just a few months.
A decision that came as a surprise to the 34-year-old, who with injury has not played since September.
-With a lot of hard work, I was ready and fit for the remaining games, and I was looking forward to giving my best for Pumas. Unfortunately, my contract was terminated, which was a surprise and of course disappointing. Therefore, I had no choice but to return home to Wales,” Aaron Ramsey writes in an Instagram post.
Then we are eagerly awaiting Ramsey’s next club choice.
