Arsenal will not start the season without a world-class No. 9, or with world-class potential. The London club tried Ollie Watkins in January, but the Aston Villa management laughed at the bid and locked the door. Now the Gunners are working on several races, where according to various English media, it is between two. On Wednesday, German media reports Arsenal have reached an agreement with one of them.

This one is Benjamin Sesko, a long-term target for Arsenal. RB Leipzig have previously signalled the club is demanding 80-100 million euros for the acrobatic striker. This has clearly not scared the Arsenal management, as according to Sport Bild, the Premier League club have now agreed with Sesko on the personal terms of a transfer to the Emirates.
