On Tuesday evening, the Italian goalkeeper sent out a farewell letter to the PSG supporters. In that post, he expressed disappointment that this was the outcome. Agent Enzo Raiola tells of a chaotic situation, where disappointment is not the only emotion aroused.

“It’s clear that he’s very angry, and so are we. We didn’t expect this from PSG after four years of respect and good results. In recent days, a castle has crumbled, which risks erasing everything good Gigio did with the club,” Enzo Raiola begins to Sky Sports Italia.
Donnarumma is said to have been willing to take a pay cut in order to stay, but the negotiations dragged on and did not start again until after the Club World Cup. By then, the PSG management had changed their minds about the Italian goalkeeper’s future, which shocked his entire camp.
So done at PSG, now it will probably be the Premier League next for the world’s best goalkeeper.
“PSG asked me not to make any official statements. We are looking at the market now. The Premier League could offer some financial opportunities, as PSG’s transfer fee demands are exaggerated. They talk about respect, but it only seems to be on a financial level,” the agent concludes.
