In 2026, the World Cup kicks off. The United States, Canada and Mexico entered into the cooperation as hosts before Trump broke all ties of trust with his neighbors. In this championship, 48 nations have qualified, now work is being done to make the eye of the needle bigger.

We believe (as always) that this championship is Norway’s, where we at least get a ticket to the World Cup group stage. If this does not work out for Haaland, Ødegaard and the gang, we have a World Cup in 2030 that will be almost impossible not to qualify for.

According to the New York Times, there is a proposal on the table at FIFA to expand the World Cup to 64 teams. If this is knocked through, the World Cup in Spain, Portugal, Morocco (plus three matches in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay), we should be able to expect Norway to qualify…
