The mood was very bad among the home crowd on Saturday Marseille lost a 2-0 lead to 2-2, partly after a goal by Sweden’s Sebastian Nanasi. (And a penalty at the end of the game).
On Instagram, Mehdi Benatia announced his decision:
“You know my honesty and openness; Therefore, considering the tensions surrounding the management, I have actually submitted (and not proposed) my resignation, because in my opinion the club always comes before individuals, and I do not want my presence to become an obstacle or a burden to the organization and development.”

Roberto de Zerbi has reportedly been offered the job as interim Tottenham manager, but he wants something permanent. – I think he will be back in the Premier League reasonably soon.
