Everton secured an important away point against Sheffield United. Three defeats in a row ended up adding up to one point. For Demarai Gray, this was no reason to rejoice.
The Jamaican winger has one year left on his contract and has been heavily linked with a departure this summer. When the transfer window closed, the former Leicester player was still part of the Everton squad.
According to transfer journalist Romano, Everton have turned down an offer from the Saudi Arabian club and Fulham’s attempt to sign him has also been rejected.
“The Everton fans have always been great to me but it’s hard to play for someone who doesn’t respect you as a person,” Gray wrote on Instagram. Sean Dyche doesn’t seem too happy to have Gray in the squad.
