In Fiorentina, things boiled a lot more as Real Betis fought their way through to the Conference League final. When Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca goes up against Real Betis, this will be a very, very special game for the Italian.

“I’m happy to meet Betis because Manuel Pellegrini is their coach. He’s like a kind of football dad to me. So I think we’re both happy about it,” Maresca told the BBC after the semi-final.
“I had him for two years as a player before I was his assistant for two years. I know exactly how he thinks about his players, but most importantly, he is an honest and good person. He tries to be honest with everyone, and I try to follow that example,” Maresca says.
Pellegrino was the coach of the player Maresca at Malaga, while Maresca was the assistant coach of the Chilean at West Ham.
