Manchester United have taken the somewhat strange attitude that while Marcus Rashford is kept out in almost all contexts, they want a lot of money to sell him.
Marcus Rashford (27) has ended up in Ruben Amorim’s freezer at Manchester United. The striker has not played a game since December 7 and said in an interview the other day that he is open to a new challenge.

I saw the scenes that followed their Europa Conference League win in 2023 and it was clear that this is a club with everything in place to be consistent success, both on and off the pitch.
United also seem to be ready to release the homegrown star in January. Several clubs have reportedly shown interest, including AC Milan, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund. Now there are strong rumours about the London club West Ham.
Graham Potter, who himself has been in the running for Manchester United manager on several occasions, has been contacted and asked to be “kept informed” of Rashford’s situation. This is reported by Talksport, among others.
A loan over the spring is the most likely option for Rashford, whose contract with United expires in the summer of 2028.
Graham Potter is said to have shown the same interest in Marcus Rashford while he was Chelsea manager and in fact all the way back to his time at Brighton.
