Lillestrøm, loan to Ull/Kisa, then Rostov in 2022 (“unfortunate” timing) for 1 poor game, back to Lillestrøm on loan, so on on loan with Danish AGF. German Holstein Kiel then opened its doors in 2024. Quite a breathless journey for Magnus Knudsen! After 53 games at Kiel, the versatile midfielder is back at AGF, this time permanently.

According to local media Kieler Nachrichten, the Superliga’s top team, AGF, is paying 1.7 million euros for Magnus Knudsen. That amount could rise further.

If AGF qualifies for European football, the price of Knudsen will rise by another 2.2 million euros, it is reported. The 24-year-old has a contract until the summer of 2030.

After 18 games, AGF leads the Danish top league with four points. Now former Lillestrøm player Knudsen is brought in to strengthen the squad in the title match.

Will be exciting to follow!
