Hailed by Pep Guardiola last season as a future key player for Manchester City, already with top-level deliveries. Oscar Bobb followed up in the preseason in the same style, before it narrowed with a broken leg. City suffered without Bobb on the pitch, so there was great joy when the Norwegian international returned for a few minutes of playing time at the beginning of the month. Still plenty of big games ahead of them, well timed for the FA Cup semi-finals this weekend. Or so we thought.

Because the injury hell continues for the 21-year-old. Now the Manchester Evening News reports Bobb is once again out of the matchday squad.

The local newspaper has picked up that the Norwegian player suffered a new injury and is likely to miss Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest.

Lead-heavy for the young player. We want speedy recovery.
