Eduardo Camavinga continues to be linked with a move away from Real Madrid and his people are “holding talks” with two Premier League clubs.

In recent months, French midfielder Camavinga has been linked with a move away from Madrid after having playing time limited by Xabi Alonso and interim manager Álvaro Arbeloa.

Camavinga first joined Madrid in the summer of 2021 from French club Rennes in a deal reportedly worth £34.4 million.

Since then, the 23-year-old has made 211 appearances across all competitions for Los Blancos, scoring six goals.

He has also won two La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies, among other titles.

According to MARCA, journalist Matteo Moretto stated that Madrid will be looking to bring in around £50 million for Camavinga.

He said: “He’s not an unsellable player, there are already Premier League clubs waiting for him. At the moment, Real Madrid are not setting a price, but it is clear that they do not want to go below 50 million.”

Recently, it has been claimed that the Premier League duo Liverpool and Chelsea are keeping an eye on the situation.

As reported by Caught Offside, Liverpool are currently showing the “strongest interest” in signing Camavinga.

It is believed that Liverpool have had “two separate meetings with the player’s people”.

A source said: “Liverpool and Chelsea are both working on establishing themselves with the nearest Camavinga. For now, Liverpool have done a little more work on this deal, but it’s likely to be an open race.”

Liverpool are reportedly looking to strengthen the midfield options in their squad in the summer transfer window.

The Reds have had a tough season and lost again in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Arne Slot’s men were beaten 2-1 by Brighton and Hove Albion at the AMEX Stadium, leaving them in fifth place and two points behind Aston Villa, who are currently in fourth place.

Liverpool will face Manchester City in the FA Cup after the last international break.
