Three years ago, Richarlison was one of the hottest attacking players in the Premier League. Everton were forced to sell. Richarlison gave the Liverpool club much-needed £50m+, but for the Brazilian, the move to Tottenham was the start of a longer slump.
This season, Richarlison has a puzzled 14 games. With 18 goals in a total of 80 games, the Harry Kane replacement has not come close to delivering like Big Harry – or himself at Everton.
In January, there were reports that Richarlison had told friends he wanted to leave Spurs, now an opportunity arises that the Brazilian with a solid 20 goals in 48 caps for Brazil will love.
