When Tottenham reluctantly released Harry Kane to the airport and destination Munich, in the summer of 2023, many on the ball island thought it was crazy to leave the Premier League as the second highest scoring player in history – well on the way to Alan Shearer’s 260 PL goals. For the past six months, Tottenham in particular have been linked with Kane’s return, in 2026 a clause should be opened for Kane’s Bayern exit – if he wanted to.
But even if Kane is pushed to respond to the rumours of a clause and a return to the Premier League or to Barcelona and La Liga, the 32-year-old himself has seen no reason to cast doubt on where he thrives. Contract with Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2027, now it is reported that the start of new negotiations has been fired.

This is confirmed by Bayern Munich director Max Eberl in connection with the DFL’s New Year’s meeting in Frankfurt. Here it was clear from Eberl that they are really talking to Harry about the future. The Bayern director will not go into how far they are in the process, but according to Sky Sports, the parties are working on an extension until 2028 or 2029.
