The United supporters, who in Senne Lammen’s debut game sang “Are you a Schmeichel in disguise?”, got yet another confirmation that United have the right man on the line this time.

Okay, two backwards, but ask Tottenham’s Cristian Romero and Joa Palhinha if they thought they had the goal in when they conceded in front of the United goalkeeper. It ended with impressive saves by the Belgian goalkeeper.

This is the goalkeeper who is already being compared to Thibaut Courtois, where Lammens is expected to take over from the Real Madrid goalkeeper in the Belgian national team in a few years. After the Tottenham game, United supporters have both received confirmation that this is the goalkeeper who lives up to the Courtois comparison and that it is a potential “Schmeichel in disguise”, a goalkeeper who gives the club the basis for titles.
