This autumn, Harry Kane was linked with a spectacular Tottenham return. In January, a clause (£57 million) will be activated, in which Tottenham will have an advantage. A Thomas Frank still on the offensive, responded to the rumour with a “Harry Kane is always welcome”. At Bayern Munich, Kane has continued his success, now scoring 110 goals in 117 games. In London, it is unfortunately back to “business as usual”. Harry Kane is unlikely to consider a return to Spurs, reports a former Tottenham star.
Former Tottenham star Stephen Carr has discussed future plans for the Bayern Munich talisman, with a return to Spur simply unlikely.

-I am sure that he will get other offers. He has the right to buyout, and does Tottenham have the right of first refusal? Is it ever the same when a player comes back again? Not really. The team he left, he had a great relationship between him and [Heung-min] Son playing together – it worked out really well. It would be a completely different team he came back to if it developed,” Carr begins, according to Goal.
-I think he will get offers from big clubs if he wants to move on. He has proven that he only scores goals. He’s phenomenal. He had incredible success there [Spurs], is a legend there, and I think he’s still seen that way. He scores goals anyway, but if he would have had the same success, I don’t know. It would have been great if he went back, but I think he will look at it differently. After leaving Tottenham and giving up on the English goal record – he would have caught up with [Alan] Shearer the way he was – he’s not going to get any younger, he’s adjusting his game, but I have a feeling he wants to stay there or go somewhere else in Europe. He might want a new challenge, instead of going back to Tottenham,” says former Tottenham star Carr.
