Let it be said, we love Thomas Frank as a coach. The job he did to lift Brentford up into the world’s toughest league – and stay there – was extreme. Also the trouble he has given the biggest clubs with budgets out of this world. Both Pep Guardiola and Jürgen Klopp have praised the Dane as a coach, but on Sunday Frank received anything but praise.
It started well with Frank as Tottenham manager, but after last season’s 17th place in the Premier League with Ange Postecoglou at the helm, Spurs supporters fear a repeat. So when Fulham run away with three points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a 1-2 win, the Spurs supporters get heated.

And when the fear of another miserable Premier League season and made a laughing stock around the ball island, then comes the anger and frustration. The Tottenham players and Frank got to feel this on Saturday with a deafening pipe concert from their own home supporters
Two days later, Frank is asked the inevitable question: Afraid of being fired?
“It seems like they (the club management and owners) are good guys, intelligent people. They know how to run a business and learn about football, learn more now that they have become owners. When we are dealing with intelligent people, they can see that every successful dynasty, every successful club has taken time. Yes, you have one where you might win one year or the other, but you can’t maintain it if you don’t build something sustainable,” says Thomas Frank according to the Guardian.
