Alejandro Garnacho is closer than ever to an exit from Manchester United.
Three Premier League clubs have begun talks to sign Alejandro Garnacho, according to reports. But the 20-year-old attacking midfielder has reportedly already decided where he wants to play next.
Garnacho joined Manchester United’s youth department almost a year ago.

The Athletic reported last month that United manager Ruben Amorim asked Garnacho to find a new club. The Argentine was critical of the manager for not bringing him in earlier in the Europa League final, which United lost 1-0 to Tottenham. He also called United’s season “crap”. (which he is right about)
Internal turmoil about attitudes
The Manchester Evening News revealed that there have been internal concerns about Garnacho’s stance, and his latest statements did not help his case. According to the Daily Mail, Amorim confronted Garnacho after the final in front of the whole team and said: “You should pray that you find a club that wants you.”
Despite this, Garnacho has been linked with a number of top clubs across Europe – including a potential shock move to Arsenal.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that three Premier League clubs have shown concrete interest, as he said on his YouTube channel:
“Premier League clubs are calling and pushing for Alejandro Garnacho. There is a high probability that we will see him in the Premier League with a different shirt than United’s.”
“Three clubs have contacted us to understand the situation, and the response from both player and club is the same: Ready to go their separate ways this summer.”
Although the three clubs are yet to be named, Garnacho undoubtedly hopes that his preferred destination is on the list.
Sky Sports claimed earlier this month that the Argentine prefers Chelsea, despite interest from Napoli and Bayer Leverkusen.
A move to Leverkusen would reunite him with ex-United boss Erik ten Hag, while Napoli – under Antonio Conte – were interested in January and could offer Serie A football.
