The contract is valid for the rest of the season, Tudor has a clear task we interpret to: “Don’t screw up in the Premier League!”
“I understand the responsibility, I take it on now, and my focus is clear. We will become more stable in our performances and compete with clear conviction in all matches. There is a lot of quality in the squad, and my job now is to organize it and bring energy, so that we can quickly improve our results, says Igor Tudor to the club’s website.
Tudor comes from an unsuccessful spell at Juventus, where he was sacked on 27 October 2025, seven months after his appointment with a closing losing streak of eight games. Now Tottenham is putting the Croatian coach in charge of stopping losing Premier League games and increasing the gap of 5 points to the place below the relegation zone.
On Sunday, February 22, Tudor will lead Tottenham in what will be the manager’s very first Premier League game. The opponent is Arsenal.
