Tottenham are currently missing key attackers, with both James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski out injured. Of course, Son Heung-min – the club’s fourth-highest scoring player of all time – is no longer present after joining LAFC in the summer.

Spurs started the season well, but have stagnated lately. Only one win has come in their last five games across all competitions. In the previous game, Monaco held them goalless in the Champions League.

Richarlison – brought in from Everton in 2022 for £60m (including add-on clauses) – is among those who have struggled. Talksport reports that Everton will have the chance to sign the Brazilian in January and that they are interested.

The Toffees are keen to bring in a new striker to the squad and are currently exploring options.

Ideally, they want someone who is already in the Premier League, and one of the names they have considered in the past is Richarlison.

Sources at Spurs believe there is a growing possibility that he will be available on the market in 2026.

He started the season in promising fashion, but his form has started to deteriorate as Tottenham draw up their own plans for how to renew their attack in the second part of the season.

Dominic Solanke is making some progress in the rehabilitation process, and they have missed him as the team’s focal point. There is a likelihood that Randal Kolo Muani will soon get his first Premier League start.

The next game is a big one for Spurs as they travel to Everton, and it could also prove to be an important afternoon for Richarlison against his old club, as his future in north London is increasingly under scrutiny.
