There were many who were stunned, when Igor Tudor was brought in as a savior after Thomas Frank was fired. A skilled no bullshit coach, but without Premier League experience. When clubs fight for survival in the world’s toughest league and fire the coach at the end of the season, then a ring fox is often brought in by a coach who knows English football inside out. Now the Tottenham management has pressed the panic button for the second time in the season.
On Sunday, the confirmation came that Tudo is done with 44 days in the job, after what is so beautifully called “mutual agreement”. The former Juventus coach stated in his first interview that he was “100 percent sure Tottenham will not be relegated”. One point above the relegation zone, the Spurs management no longer believes in the guarantee.

Not surprising after five losses, one draw and only one win (this one of no significance against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League) with Tudor at the helm.
Here is Tudor’s battle streak:
Tottenham – Arsenal: 1-4
Fulham – Tottenham: 2-1
Tottenham – Crystal Palace: 1-3
Atlético Madrid – Tottenham: 5-2
Liverpool – Tottenham: 1-1
Tottenham – Atlético Madrid: 3-2
Tottenham – Nottingham Forest: 0-3
Tottenham are currently in 17th place in the Premier League – just one point above the relegation zone, the Spurs supporters have barely nails left on their fingers for the rest of the season.
