There is once again tension over who will save Tottenham’s Premier League season and lead the club forward. With the sacking of Thomas Frank a few hours after it became clear Roberto de Zebi was done at Marseille, rumours swirled that Tottenham would take advantage of the situation and persuade the former Brighton manager to step in as a long-term (everything is relative) coaching solution already from the next Premier League game against Arsenal. Now it is reported that the Tottenham management has made two decisions.

One is that the club does as Manchester United and focuses on the rest of the season with an interim coach. According to The Telegraph , the interim coach will be in place on Monday, a short week before Premier League leaders Arsenal travel to Tottenham Hottspur Stadium.

The second decision, according to transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, is that the interim coach will be the Croatian Igor Tudor. The former Juventus coach is said to have been in talks with Tottenham management on Friday morning, where a deal until the summer was discussed and presented.

When choosing Igor Tudor, it is probably natural to offer a shorter contract anyway. Since 2015, the Croatian coach has managed 8 different clubs.
