Tottenham are reportedly in the driving seat to sign striker Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus on a free transfer in the summer, when his contract with the Italian club expires.
Dominic Solanke has also had injury problems this season, but has recently returned to play-ready form and scored twice against Manchester City earlier this month. Finding a skilled and reliable reserve could be on the agenda, to provide coverage and competition into the 2026/2027 season.

According to journalist Carlo Pellegatti, Tottenham are one of the clubs best placed to secure Juventus striker Vlahovic when his contract expires in the summer. It is claimed that Premier League clubs will have an advantage in the match, because his agent charges high commissions to get a deal in place, making it difficult for other clubs to justify.
“Chelsea and Tottenham, and thus England, could be in the driver’s seat for Dusan Vlahovic’s future. I am not surprised, because the demands of his agent for commission are very high. He wants a signing bonus himself. The financial negotiations are very complicated and, in my opinion, too much for AC Milan at this point.”
With Vlahovic available on a free transfer, it will be an interesting battle to secure his signature in the coming months. Foot Mercato has claimed that Vlahovic’s future lies outside Juventus, while journalist Valentin Feuillette has described the player as ‘world class’ despite his recent difficulties.
If Spurs choose not to sign Kolo Muani on a permanent deal, they will need to find a replacement for the centre-forward in the summer transfer window. Vlahovic, as a free agent, could be the ideal solution, as long as the agent costs and salary are not too high.
Spurs don’t want to invest too much in a striker if they think Solanke is their main man in the attacking centre, so a free agent addition could be perfect. Vlahovic, who earns £400,000 a week according to ESPN, has shown that he is capable of scoring regularly in his career, but he has yet to be tested in the Premier League.
