The English media claim that the clubs are in negotiations over a transfer for Andy Robertson, the Scot who will leave as a free agent in the summer.
Robertsen has 363 appearances in the Liverpool shirt since his transfer from Hull City in 2017, now the rest of the season can end at one of the rivals in London.
Tottenham desperately need to strengthen their defence, Robertson desperately needs game time ahead of Scotland’s first World Cup finals in 28 years.
His contract with Liverpool expires in the summer, so if Robertson is mentally ready to pull on the white Spurs shirt, then this should be a formality. It is reported that the negotiations are in the final phase.
