Tottenham are suffering. Roberto de Zerbi has taken on the task of keeping the club in the Premier League, while also representing the long-term climb up the Premier League table. For that, a rock-solid goalkeeper is needed. With Vicario on his way back to Serie A, Spurs are on the hunt for a goalkeeper like Hugo Llloris, one represented by stability and security, who wore Tottenham’s goalkeeper shirt for almost twelve years. Now it is reported that a strong candidate is at Manchester City.

When Manchester City’s super-goalkeeper Ederson decided to go for Guardiola, the red carpet was rolled out for one of England’s greatest goalkeeping talents. With strong competition from Newcastle, James Trafford was signed this summer, the Burnley goalkeeper has the potential to take over as England’s national team goalkeeper. The 23-year-old started the season as the first goalkeeper, had some less fortunate interventions, then came the shock in the transfer to September.
