Manchester United travelled to London and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium without a loss in four games. Tottenham welcomed the visitors with a 4-0 overrun of FC Copenhagen fresh in their minds. The supporters still had a small lump in their stomachs, Spurs had not won at home in the Premier League since the first round against Burnley. It was a terrific game, where United did not lose and Tottenham did not win. Thomas Frank was convinced Spurs should have taken the win.
“We stayed in the game and pressed. In a game where two teams neutralize each other, you don’t create much. It’s natural. Our spirit really impressed me,” Frank begins, according to the BBC.

“We could have done much better. The latter is crucial, maybe we shouldn’t have let them hit the ball in the box and defended better.
Tottenham turned the game from 0-1 to 2-1 at the end of the game, but were unable to stop Mathijs De Ligt’s head-to-head goal to make it 2-2 in the 96th minute.
The late equaliser annoys Thomas Frank.
“Of course, I don’t leave here without being disappointed when you lead with one minute left and don’t win. It will always be like that. I focus especially on the second half, which was a good performance. I was happy with the way we turned the game around,” the Tottenham manager concluded.
