It’s only been a few games since the mood at Spurs was that they wanted to keep Igor Tudor for the rest of the season and then hire a top manager from next season. – Now that relegation from the Premier League is becoming more and more likely, with the huge loss of revenue that follows, Tottenham cannot afford to wait.
Igor Tudor is set to sack Tottenham manager after the horrific 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at the weekend, and a replacement is already in the pipeline.

Spurs are about to carry out another manager change and end their partnership with Igor Tudor after the dismal home defeat
Tudor, who replaced Thomas Frank, finally won his first game in charge last week when Spurs beat Atletico Madrid 3-2 in the decisive second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
But the team did not reverse the trend, and Sunday’s six-point game against Forest was a disaster. Spurs lost 3-0 after goals from Igor Jesus, Morgan Gibbs-White and Taiwo Awoniyi.
It was Tudor’s fifth defeat since taking the helm, leaving Spurs just one point ahead of West Ham, who luckily for Tottenham lost to Aston Villa.

Former Juventus coach Tudor was hired until the end of the season, but recent reports indicate that he could be fired very soon.
The Times writes that Spurs are considering making a permanent appointment on the coaching side, and former Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi is their top candidate. Former boss Mauricio Pochettino and Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola are also in the running, but De Zerbi is available after he left Ligue 1 club Marseille by mutual agreement last month.
It could be that desperate Spurs replace Tudor with De Zerbi, but ensure that a relegation clause is included in his contract should the dreaded scenario occur.
Spurs have never been relegated since the Premier League was created in 1992, but now find themselves in a genuine relegation battle almost exactly one year after winning the Europa League.
After the international break, they face Sunderland in their next game on April 12, before games against Brighton and Wolves.
Spurs’ last four games are against Aston Villa, Leeds United, Chelsea and Everton – their opponent in the final league round on May 24.
According to BBC Sport, a relegation for Spurs would cost them more than £250 million, as ticket revenue, commercial revenue, and overall TV revenue would all be significantly reduced.
