Now that the reigning league champions have done what they have to do before the meeting with Tottenham on May 1, all the focus will be on London, from tomorrow morning.
Bodø/Glimt had to dig deep to secure a 3-0 win against KFUM Oslo at Aspmyra. It didn’t go as well for Bodø/Glimt’s semi-final Europa League Tottenham. They were completely run over 5 – 1 at Anfield and with that handed the Premmier League title to Liverpool.

It was clear that the visitors were not going to give up the doors, the defense was thoroughly organized and Bodø/Glimt had few opportunities.
Kasper Høgh’s double kicks the game into life
After a tough game against KFUM’s well-organized defense, it was Kasper Høgh who became the match winner for the yellow-clad team.
- 70th minute: Høgh rose high and made it 1-0 on a perfect cross from Sondre Sørli
- 83rd minute: The Dane secured a double from the penalty spot after a KFUM hand
- 90th minute: Ulrik Saltnes put an end to the victory
“It was a class ball by Sondre. I was just going to stand there,” Høgh smiled to TV 2 after the game, while wondering what the Norwegian expression “scored” really means.

Bjørtuft damage overshadows victory
The victory got a bitter aftertaste when Odin Bjørtuft had to leave the field injured just 7 minutes into the second half.
- The centre-back has been a mainstay of Glimt’s defence this season
- “It doesn’t look promising,” said TV 2 expert Jesper Mathisen
- “It’s just sad and sad,” he added
Patrick Berg expressed concern:
“Of course, we hope it is not serious. Odin has had a fantastic season so far.”
Injury nightmare before Tottenham game
The injury comes at the absolute worst moment before Glimt’s historic Europa League semi-final against Tottenham:
- Already absent: Patrick Berg and Håkon Evjen (suspended)
- Doubtful: Ole Didrik Blomberg (injured against Molde)
- Now: Odin Bjørtuft (injury against KFUM)
“I wish I could play, but I’m going to go down there anyway and contribute what I can,” Berg said of the Europa League match.
Table situation
With this victory, Glimt strengthens their position:
- 3 wins and 1 draw in 4 matches
- KFUM stands with 1 win and 3 losses
