Trent Alexander-Arnold has received a clear call from fans to reject interest from Real Madrid, following the jubilant celebrations of Liverpool’s second ever Premier League title.
The England international is heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer, but Liverpool fans have reiterated their desire for Alexander-Arnold to extend his contract with his childhood club.

Fans tell him to stay
After Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah both signed new deals with the Reds in the last month, the club’s supporters believe Alexander-Arnold should do the same.
Liverpool secured the title with a crushing 5-1 win over Tottenham on Sunday, and Alexander-Arnold was seen dancing with Andrew Robertson after the final whistle – triggering new prayers from fans.
“You won’t get this anywhere else, Trent,” one supporter wrote on X. Another added: “Now we know Trent will stay” in response to a photo of him enjoying the atmosphere from The Kop.
The intense celebrations at Anfield even prompted Sky Sports commentator Peter Drury to ask,
“How could Trent consider leaving this?”
Van Dijk sends important message
During an interview with Sky Sports, Van Dijk gave a message that Liverpool fans hope Alexander-Arnold hears:
“This is the most beautiful club in the world. We deserve this. We’re going to enjoy the next few weeks and let it sink in.”
“I was desperate to win for them [the fans] and all the supporters around the world – and for ourselves. We’ve won two Premier League titles in five years.”
Alexander-Arnold’s impressive season
Alexander-Arnold has accounted for four goals and seven assists in 41 appearances this season.
The question is whether Liverpool’s soulful celebrations and the team’s success under Arne Slot can persuade him to stay – or whether the dream of Real Madrid will be too strong.
