When Solskjaer was asked by the vice-president of Besiktas at the previous press conference which player he wanted, the answer came quickly with a sly smile: “Erling Haaland”. Of course, it won’t be Haaland, but it’s clear that Besiktas will bring in a striker who makes a big difference. Two candidates are moving up as very relevant, one in the “bomb-signing category”.
– Besiktas want to start the new season with a goalscorer of undisputed quality. The club has pointed out two names as its priority targets, reports Fanatik.

– Abraham-bomb! In addition to Jonas Wind, another player tops Besiktas’ list. It is Roma star Tammy Abraham, who is on loan to AC Milan. The management is working hard to get one of these two names to wear the Besiktas shirt next season, writes the medium.
The 27-year-old Abraham came through the youth ranks at Stamford Bridge before breaking through to the first team in 2019-20 after successful loan spells at Bristol City, Swansea City and Aston Villa. He scored 30 goals in 82 appearances for his childhood club, but joined Roma for £34 million in the summer of 2021 in search of more regular game time after moving to the back of the playing time queue.
At Roma, he collaborated with former Chelsea boss José Mourinho, and the two had a successful time in the Italian capital. They won the Europa League in 2021-22, before losing the Europa League final the following season.
Abraham excelled under Mourinho with 27 goals in 53 games during his first season. He added nine more goals in his second season, before the Englishman suffered a serious knee injury and missed most of the 2023–24 season. Mourinho had then been sacked by the club. On loan at AC Milan, there have been a total of 10 goals in 44 games.

Now Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Besiktas will persuade Abraham to move to Istanbul.
