Kasper Høgh had an unusual Champions League night at the San Siro. Four goals and two assists in the last three games, against Inter Milan on Tuesday, the Dane was left without the last, or penultimate kick before scoring. Of course, he was anything but a disgruntled player, he praised the whole team – with a special thank you to the defense and back man, Nikita Haikin. UEFA saw the same thing in their selection of the five best saves on this beautiful Champions League night.
“Of course we wanted to be more on the ball ourselves, but a lot of respect to Nikita and the defence. There was a wall down there, so it was actually a good feeling, even if it sometimes burned a little,” Kasper Høgh told Viaplay after the game.
