The glory days of the Americans in some competitions have passed with the departure of Michael Phelps. USA Swimming has found a way to motivate its swimmers. It will award a $1.5 million prize to those who qualify for next year’s World Championships and Olympics in Paris and win the designated races.

The task of American swimmers is “simple”. They must qualify for the World Championships and the Olympics and win all the relay races. Moreover, the challenge applies to both men and women. If they are successful, USA Swimming will reward them with $1.5 million. The money will be paid in two parts. Swimmers will get half a million dollars if they win all seven races at the Fukuoka World Championships and $1 million if they repeat it at the Paris Games.

Will they be able to win all the races? It can be a tough job, but never say never.
